Encourage Creativity With Puppets

Puppets are just one of many ways for your children to develop their creativity.  Puppets are a wonderful way for children to expand their imagination and learn about different events.  Here are a few ideas for you to try with your family -

• Learn about a historical event and then put on a puppet show reenacting it.
• Read a Bible story together.  Assign each person one of the roles and have them read that part with their puppet.
• Write your own play and perform it for your family and friends.  This is especially good for older children.
• Act out a scene from your favorite show, movie, or book.

 *You can also make your own puppet stage from PVC pipes.
